I got Line Rider unbound in November and loaded it on to my computer. I was having so much fun with it. Then I forgot about it. Around February, our family got a new computer and got rid of the old one. Now, I'm trying to put it on this one and it doesn't work, it says the DAC has already been used even though I uninstalled it form the one I had it on before. PLEASE HELP ~Pax

There is no way of deactivating a used DAC, but you can use the username and password you entered when you activated your DAC to authorize the new installation of the game.

Yes I'm havving the same problem...kinda...
Computer Crashed, got it fixed, but the memory was wiped.
Recently I tried to re-install it, and I don't remember what my username/password was.....
And when I tried making a new one, I had the same problem as you...
So, should i e-mail for help to someone or what?

Have you sent an email to support@inxile.net? If you haven't, you can do that here, by filling out the form: http://www.sparkworkz.com/support/
They'll take care of it.

Since I'm actually thinking of getting that game, what DOES the DAC do? Isn't it for the registration thing? Or just to be able to share tracks? (Take note I never used DAC on the LR2 Game when I played it)

The DAC is just a code that comes with the game, which you have to input when you first install it. Here's the catch though: you can only use it once. That's it. BUT! After you input the code, it asks you to create a username and password.
DO THIS!
You can use that username and password to install your copy of the game wherever you like, so it's very convenient. It's also vital, if your computer breaks and you get a new one. So write it down somewhere. Preferably in an email to yourself that you save, so you can look it up on any computer, any time you need to, without fear of losing it behind a couch or something. It's amazing how many support questions we get from people who are re-installing their copy of Line Rider 2 onto a new computer, and are trying to reuse their old DAC number because they forgot about the username/password feature. And then I remind them about it, and they go "oops! I forgot my password for this!"
It makes things difficult because, unlike forums or some of our other Flash games, there's no way to make a password recovery system for our DAC. Of course, we still have solutions, cuz we're clever like that. But life is much easier for everyone when we're not forced to use those workarounds.

Smart and thanks! Too bad there's people who can't seem to get the "WRITE YOUR PASSWORD AND USERNAME DOWN" concept. thanks also for explaining what it was; I wanted to know exactly.

No problem. Well, some people don't write them down because they want to keep them secret. Which makes sense if you truly are worried that someone will steal it. But if you forget it, then it's no use to anybody.

Exactly. I actually create a TextEdit (Macintosh's "Word") and save it in my secret folder. Also, did you check out my new track?
