Okay, so it was nice that the LineRider crew wanted to upgrade the program to make it better, right? Well, we all thank them for the thought. Unfortunately, that's about all we can thank them for. Sure, they added nice features, like built in sound and taping features, but when the LineRider crew scripted this, they made three critical errors that pretty much everyone is having trouble with.
1) This may be a fluke, but a lot of users in the forums are complaining that their tracks are disappearing. Granted, it happened before, but it seems a lot more common now.
2) Keyboard shortcuts aren't operational. I don't know if it is a program error, or was intentionally left out, but it's inconveniencing a lot of users. Most things it makes much more difficult, and many things, like backwards acceleration and upside down lines, it makes impossible.
3) This is possibly the most cruel joke I have ever heard. The LineRider crew creates a feature that lets you upload your old tracks from Beta 2. That's nice, right?
Of course, there's a catch, and the catch pretty much ruins the whole thing. They have decided to alter the phisics of the program! Now all the old tracks you made can be uploaded, but will be totally useless!
We all appreciate that the LineRider crew wanted to upgrade the program, but why couldn't they do it properly? Why sacrifice the nice things that made the old system so great? Come on, crew! Let's get the
show on the road!
