has this competition stopped?? it says that the last question was posted last wensday??
No, the contest is still going strong. If you see a question that is a day or two old
, that means the question is STILL OPEN
. I do not post a new question until I have five correct answers from the previous question. Also, there are no questions on weekends.
So, i know only 2 questions went up last week, but that is because there weren't enough correct replies.
To those of you who don't attempt to answer because you see that the question is a couple hours old: TRY
. It usually takes a whole day, and sometimes even into the next day (as last week proves) to get 5 right answers. So don't be discouraged if you see the question late in the day.
Now, on to Question 9:
There are three Olympic sports which utilize a vehicle generically known as a "sled". The sleds are called more specific names in the 3 specific sports, but they are sleds, nonetheless. What are these 3 sports???
WOW. Question 10 took a really long time to get 5 right answers. Just goes to show you people, don't be afraid to try
. Let's move on to question 11 (finally).
Question 11:
The August 2007 issue of which printed magazine featured an article about Line Rider?????
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! You have all weekend, so get those answers in!
Sorry about the long delay between questions, guys. I was gone for the long weekend. Anyway, we're ready to get this ball moving again. So, to get everyone back into the groove, let's start with an easy question
Question 12:
What is the name of the Line Rider in Line Rider. Hint: it's not Line Rider, Line Rider Dude, Line Rider Guy, or anything like that.
Question 11 answer was: Games for Windows
Good Luck everyone!!!
Ok, I'm gonna keep this one easy also. Hopefully then I'll get more right answers faster
.
Question 13:
If you wanted to sled down the highest mountain on Earth, which mountain would you sled down???
Question 12 answer: Bosh
P.S. It seems that some people aren't sure where to submit the answer to. As it says in the rules, send your answer to contests@linerider.com
Question 15!!! All right, this one is gonna be harder than the last, but then again, i think any question will be harder than that one.
Question 15:
Who is credited for discovering most of the known "Gravity Well" tricks? I just need the name they make their tracks under. Not their actual name.
HINT: it is NOT TechDawg
Remember, send your answers to Contests@linerider.com
Good luck!!
Answer to question 14:
Wii, DS, PC, or Mobile
This one is going to be the easiest question yet.
Question 17:
Who created the Line Rider video featured on the home page of this site, LineRider.com?
Easy question, i know there's still people out there who haven't won a shirt yet!!!
GOOD LUCK!
Please read the rules above and send your answers to Contests@linerider.com.
DO NOT POST THE ANSWER HERE, OR ANYWHERE ELSE ON THE FORUM
...Thank You

OFFICIAL LINE RIDER CONTEST
This contest is going to be ran by my colleague and fellow Inxile employee UltimateEpic.
The contest itself will consist of trivia. UltimateEpic will post one question every day (excluding some weekends).
The first five people to reply to contests@linerider.com will receive a free Line Rider T-shirt from inXile Entertainment Inc.
The questions will be posted at random times, so one day it could happen at 8AM while the next day it could happen at 8PM.
- InXile Employees can not participate in this contest.
- Participants under the age of 18 must get parental approval to participate.
- Limited to one win per household.
- Posting of the answers for others to see will lead to disqualification. (Answers have to be emailed directly to the given email).
- Replies to the email must be sent within a week.
- Emails have to be in the following format:
Subject: “LRC -”
Message: “Answer.”
So for example, if you were replying to question number 7 and the answer to the question was “Linerider” then it would look something like this:
Subject: LRC – 7
Message: Linerider
The questions themselves will be posted in this thread by UltimateEpic. And the five winners for each question will be contacted via email.
So be on the look out, a question can be posted at any given time starting Friday October 26th, 2007.
Good Luck!
