i will voice my opinion and what i know on the massachusettes case

a kid in his 2nd grade class got read a book called The King and The King
it was about two princes falling in love and getting married, after which ruled the kingdom as king and king
the parents voiced this problem and 4 court judges ruled that the parents don't have to be notified when they will be reading these type of books and they cannot be pulled out of class.

my opinion on this is that they are saying that the government can overrule the voice of the people. this is wrong and is against what the founding fathers had in mind. the people in mass. should wake up and stand against this!!!!

anyway, that is my opinion...

What about in California? This is my worst nightmare: Cal. and Mass. both convince states on their side of the US to become....... uhhh.............. let's call it wrong.

5 years later..........

Every state that touches an ocean becomes wrong. It starts to cave inward to the heartland (Mid West) and it keeps going and going until it reaches here. (Illinois) Then we'd probably leave the US and become Canadians. lol

To start did you know that Obama supports this act (and abortion) while McCain did not (either one). I do not like either one, but people will be people (why did Michael Jackson do what he did?). I'm just saying that, while it is a free country, there should still be restrictions on things like that.

amen, California

those things are wrong and should have restrictions on them.
i will tell my opinion and facts about prop 8 tomorrow (Monday)

btw: i did know that. obama is also for partial-birth abortion which is the sickest thing i have ever heard, but that is another issue

i don't like either of them either

Prop 8 is a HUGE issue no, GIGANTIC problem in both Massuchusets and California. Someone like Obama, no I have a better name, Nobama needs to wake up one day and say "wait a minute, a male and male should not get married, omg what I have been doing all this time is wrong, it is against God's law omg omg omg I NEED TO STOP THIS NOW!" Same with abortion. THE NEEDS TO STOP THIS PROBLEM. HE IS SUCH A SON OF A

hey MasterLR,
i agree totally on violating God's law and everything else about Obama realizing it's wrong, but it is the people who need to stop this along with congress. we need to stand against a corrupt education that would be taught to our children

thx for your opinions, guys

keep this debate going!!! Rawk

What I'm getting from this wrote:

That the people, rather than the higher power (President), must stop their problems (Which I'm getting as gay marriage, though I may be wrong.)

Thus, since the opinion SEEMS to be that he is Against gay marriage.
(I say SEEMS because I could very well be wrong; Cheesman may be Against, Neutral, or Supportive of gay marriage. This is just my almost-vaguely-partially-somewhat educated guess.)

Now, if I haven't said this enough,
I VERY WELL COULD BE, AND PROBABLY AM, WRONG.

Also, California, in the post directly after/above this, [I dunno if editing moves posts anymore], please add a [/quote] tag. Its very distracting to have one post absorb the rest of them.
