Do not buy this game if you have vista!!!!

If you have the VISTA os instead of XP do not buy this game. When you put the game and the install screen pops up but it never does anything. It just loads forever. So dont waste your money like i did and i am considering downgrading to XP. VISTA SUCKS DONT GET IT!!!

Yes, there are some known issues, including the time it takes for the installer to load (it should load eventually), but it should still work fine, just be sure to run the game as an administrator

Also, if you are having problems with vista, one thing that might help is by running vista in administrator mode so you have full access. That's helped me when I hit problems on other games trying to get them to work on vista.

i have Vista Yeah When i downloaded it Didnt do a thing but it still works for me.

I just got the game and use Vista. It was just instalation that gave me trouble for about 30 minutes. After that it was fine.

I just installed the game on the xp of my parents and copied the installed game to my vista laptop and it works fine.
Just ask a firend who has a xp computer.

Dude GarthDunk Its Just A Operating system UNstall Vista then ask a friend to give some cds that came with Computer then install which will take 1 hour-7 hours ithink thats how it works...

nevermind, i'm an idiot who relies on comodo too much, if you have issues, reset the pc, run an antivirus, turn off your firewalls, and just run the game (make sure you checked the specs on the back of the case... ...some ppl dont....)

Hey Darthgunk: some people are just doomed to have a vista, cuz Windows cansupply plenty of games MADE for XP, but only sells Vista now. besides, i'm sticking to Beta2 until someone at Genius with a little extra brain (how ironic) can make a Vista version (hopefully).

For anyone having issues with vista or any other issues with the game, send a moderator or admin a private message with these 2 peices of info:

1) What is going wrong - what you are trying to do and how it's failing, and any error message you get if you get one
2) An email address to contact you at

If you give us those we can help you figure out the issue and try and get it resolved Smiling

here follow these steps to play on vista

Just got to "Control Panel"

Then "User Accounts"

Then click on "Turn User Account Control on or off" almost there

Then you uncheck The box (its the only box within the words),

Then click "OK"

Then Finally It will I Think ask you to Restart You comp.

Then Play LR2U
